The Minnesota Twins have activated 26-year old righty reliever Trevor May off the D.L. May has pitched in 29 games (0 starts) for the Twins so far this year and he is 0-2 with a 6.08 ERA and a 1.50 WHIP. He has given up 30 hits (5 homers) and 10 walks while whiffing 40 batters in his first 26 2/3 innings this year. May has great stuff, but it’s time to translate that stuff into positive results. To make room on the roster for May, the Twins have sent 28-year old lefty reliever Buddy Boshers to AAA. Boshers has pitched in 15 games (0 starts) for the Twins so far this year and he is 2-0 with a 1.38 ERA and a 0.85 WHIP. Boshers has pitched 13 innings for the Twins so far this year and he has allowed 9 hits and 2 walks while whiffing 14 batters. Look for Boshers to be back with the Twins in the near future, as he has pitched well for them so far this year.
