The Minnesota Twins have activated 27-year old switch-hitting SS Eduardo Escobar from the D.L. He played in 27 games before he was placed on the D.L. with a groin injury and he was 23 of 97 (.237 avg, .563 OPS) with 6 runs scored, 0 homers and 6 RBIs. He played in 3 games on his rehab assignment in A-ball and he was 4 for 11 (.364 avg, 1.053 OPS) with 1 run scored. But the question is…..how much P.T. will he get this time around? That is because 28-year old righty swinging Eduardo Nunez has been one of the only Twins’ players that is hitting well. Nunez has played in 34 games for the Twins so far this year and he is 39 of 122 (.320 avg, .831 OPS) with 16 runs scored, 3 homers, 17 RBIs and 8 stolen bases.
