Twins’ manager Paul Molitor yanked 24-year old lefty swinging outfielder Eddie Rosario out of the game in the seventh inning yesterday and then the Minnesota Twins sent him to AAA after the game. Rosario has played in 32 games for the Twins so far this year and he is 24 of 115 (.209 avg, .557 OPS) with 15 runs scored, 3 homers, 11 RBIs and 3 stolen bases. Rosario has now played in 154 games in his first two years with the Twins and he is 145 of 568 (.255 avg, .709 OPS) with 75 runs scored, 16 homers, 61 RBIs and 14 stolen bases. Paul Molitor has a big Dog House, as Oswaldo Arcia was buried in it last year…..so it might be a while before Rosario gets another shot with the Twins. The Twins have called up recently signed Robbie Grossman to replace Rosario on the roster.
