22-year old switch-hitting infielder Jorge Polanco has been called back up by the Minnesota Twins. He must always have his bags packed! Polanco has played in 13 games in AAA-ball so far this year and he is 13 of 46 (.283 avg, .846 OPS) with 5 runs scored, 1 homer and 2 RBIs. He also played in 5 games earlier this year for the Twins in which he was 1 for 7 (.143 avg, .508 OPS) with 1 run scored, 0 homers and 1 RBI. Polanco has now played in 14 games in his first three years with the Twins and he is 6 for 23 (.261 avg, .814 OPS) with 4 runs scored, 0 homers, 5 RBIs and 1 stolen base. He should stick around longer this time around with Eduardo Escobar going on the D.L.
