The Minnesota Twins have signed 33-year old lefty reliever Sean Burnett to a minor league deal. He has pitched in 13 games (0 starts) in AAA-ball for the Dodgers and Braves in which he is 0-0 with a 1.38 ERA and a 1.39 WHIP. Burnett has pitched in 370 games (13 starts) in his first 8 years in the majors and he is 15-23 with 10 saves, a 3.53 ERA and a 1.34 WHIP. The Twins will have to make a decision quickly on whether or not to bring up Burnett, as he has already opted out of two minor league deals so far this year.
