The Minnesota Twins have activated 29-year old righty swinging 3B Trevor Plouffe off of the D.L. Plouffe played in 12 games for the Twins earlier this year and he was 13 of 43 (.302 avg, .868 OPS) with 3 runs scored, 2 homers and 6 RBIs. The Twins have sent 22-year old switch-hitting infielder Jorge Polanco back to AAA to open up a roster spot for Plouffe. Polanco has played in 5 games for the Twins so far this year and he is 1 for 7 (.143 avg, .508 OPS) with 1 run scored and 1 RBI. The Twins have to be happy to have Plouffe back because of his bat, as they have had trouble scoring runs so far this year.
