The Minnesota Twins have activated 25-year old switch-hitting OF/SS Danny Santana from the D.L. and they have also called up 26-year old righty starter/reliever Alex Meyer.  Santana played in 4 games earlier this year for the Twins and he was 2 for 12 (.167 avg, .333 OPS) with 1 stolen base.  He has now played in 196 games in his first three years in the show and he is 187 of 678 (.276 avg, .704 OPS) with 100 runs scored, 7 homers, 61 RBIs and 29 stolen bases.  Meyer came into this season as the Twins’ #12 prospect according to Baseball America.  He pitched in 3 games (2 starts) in AAA-ball for the Twins this year and he was 1-1 with 1 save, a 1.04 ERA and a 0.87 WHIP.  He got his first taste of the show last year for the Twins, working in 2 games (0 starts) in which he was 0-0 with a 16.88 ERA and a 2.63 WHIP.  The Twins will have Meyer working out of the pen this time around.
